DEBORAH COMPAGNONI

Milano Cortina 2026 is proud to have Deborah Compagnoni as its Ambassador. She is the most successful Italian skier ever and the first athlete to win a gold medal in three different editions of the Winter Olympics in the history of alpine skiing. Her record includes three world golds, three golds and one silver at the Winter Olympics and 44 World Cup podiums (including 16 victories).

Today she is an Ambassador and Advisor to the Milan Cortina 2026 Foundation for the Olympics and Paralympics, with the aim of promoting environmental sustainability, which she holds dear.

A ski slope in her home town, Santa Caterina Valfurva in Valtellina, and a stretch of the seafront in Jesolo have been named after her.

She has always led an active lifestyle and a healthy diet, preferring local products at 0 km and fighting food waste. She is involved in social work with her non-profit association "Sciare per la Vita" and as a Unicef Ambassador.
