An initiative that every year involves thousands of students from schools in Lombardy and Veneto in the Winter GamesSet up in 1964, from 2024 the “Trophies of Milano” become the “Trophies of Milano Cortina 2026” and part of the Gen26 Education Programme.
Since 1964, nearly 4 million youngsters have already taken part in the initiative. Sixty years of sport and history dedicated to young students, their education, wellbeing, practising and playing sport and its inherent values.
A 12-month educational project for primary and middle-school students in Lombardy and Veneto.
The aim is to bring youngsters closer to Olympism and its values. By tradition and desire, all the Trophy activities are free to enter and also involve the teachers in 2 different stages with education throughout the entire school year and sport, culminating in the finals traditionally held in the Gianni Brera Arena in Milan. The “Three-day Sports Festival for Youngsters” in this historic Arena is the grand finale of the Project and it is held in the presence of the highest national and local authorities, as part of the “GenerAZIONE2026” Project.
