Bring the Games to Your Area

With Italia dei Giochi, any community, entity, or sports association can present an initiative to promote sport. Here’s how to apply.

Applications are open for "Italia dei Giochi", the Milano Cortina 2026 project in collaboration with CONI and CIP which promotes sociality, inclusion, sustainability and sports practice throughout the national territory. This is an initiative that allows all citizens to experience the emotions of the Olympics, Paralympics and sport, while waiting for the big event - the 2026 Winter Games.

Territorial bodies, public bodies and sports organisations from all over Italy will have the opportunity to apply and present their initiative to celebrate the arrival of the Winter Olympics and Paralympics in our country, involve communities and include more sport in the life of each person, leaving an impactful and lasting legacy.

How to apply

To join the project, you can choose between three levels of participation, each with a different level of commitment and
involvement, dedicated to the three founding values: sport, sustainability and inclusion.
