Together at Expo per lo Sport in Milan

Young people can challenge themselves with curling and immerse themselves in one of the key disciplines at the 2026 Winter Games.

On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September at Sempione Park in Milan, the ninth edition of Expo per lo Sport will come to life, the sporting event designed and created for young people aged 5 to 14.

During the weekend, Milano Cortina 2026 will be present at Expo per Sport with a dedicated area, within which girls and boys will be able to personally try curling - the key discipline of the next Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Milano Cortina 2026 - thanks to an inflatable rink made available by the Ice Sports Federation.

To make the curling experience even more interesting, there will be athletes and technicians who will share their experience and their passion for a sport whose popularity is increasingly growing. Precision, strategy and strength are some of the distinctive features of this discipline which will be present at Milano Cortina 2026 with the men's, women's and mixed doubles competitions. In this event, in Beijing 2022, the Italians Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner triumphed.

Expo for Sport was created with the aim of promoting sport and its values ​​by giving young people the opportunity to approach more than 30 disciplines first hand, from the best known to the emerging ones: from tennis to basketball up to taekwondo and badminton , also passing through winter sports.

Sport for young people

Education, training and sharing are the key words of an event dedicated to sport linked to the school system, which aims to approach young people in a playful but functional way, transmitting sporting values ​​through the direct involvement of the public. Looking to the future to allow the youth community to get closer to these principles is an essential part of the Games project that Milano Cortina 2026 is building.

Expo for Sport is open to all and participation is totally free for the entire duration of the event. To access the spaces and activities, registration on the official Expo per Sport website is required.
