Registrations for the 2025 edition of the Gen26 Education Programme initiative are now open. The program comprises educational and sports activities inspired by Olympic and Paralympic values

After the success of last year's first edition, which involved as many as 231,125 students from 720 locations throughout Italy, the Winter Games Week is back with a new edition. And this year, the activities will be held before, during and after the event week, from 3 to 7 February 2025.

An educational course on sport and Olympic and Paralympic activities in Italian schools. The Winter Games Week is an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Education and Merit - Directorate General for Students, Inclusion and School Orientation - together with Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, in collaboration with CONI and CIP, to raise awareness among young people on Olympic and Paralympic topics, during the path that will lead the Country to host the Olympic Winter Games 2026.

This nationwide initiative is focused on the engagement of young people who, in 2026, will have the chance to see - or even be part of - the Winter Olympics and Paralympics with a greater awareness of the values of sport, culture, respect and citizenship, sustainability and cohesion associated with this much-anticipated international event.

By signing up for the Winter Games Week, you will receive educational materials and tips for organising lessons to best promote sport disciplines and physical activity among young people, and to spread Olympic and Paralympic values to students.
