Bobsleigh Skeleton LugeThe new Sliding Centre in Cortina d’Ampezzo will rise on the track of the legendary slope named after Eugenio Monti - the "Flying Redhead" twice Olympic bobsleigh champion in Grenoble in '68 - already the venue of the 1956 Winter Olympics and of many historic exploits of Italian athletes. The Sliding Centre, which will host bobsleigh, skeleton, and luge competitions, revives and projects into the future the ancient tradition of the people of Cortina d'Ampezzo in sliding sports.
