Who can apply?

Team26 celebrates diversity and everyone’s uniqueness

We welcome anyone who is ready to embrace the spirit of the Games. Make sure you meet this basic eligibility criteria to join Team26.

Age

You are at least 18 years old by 1 November 2025

Language

You speak and understand basic Italian or English

Training

You can attend a selection event and complete your training journey

Availability

You are available for at least nine days during either the Olympic or Paralympic Winter Games

What is Team26?
Why volunteer for Milano Cortina 2026?
Volunteers have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the success of the Games and help create long-lasting memories for all participants and spectators. Joining Team26 is an opportunity to experience the behind the scenes of an incredible event that involves and connects people from all over the world. By being part of this incredible community, volunteers can build new inspiring connections, learn and sharpen new skills, and embark on a unique learning path.
When will the call for applications open?
Is there any requirement I should meet to join Team26?
We are not looking for any specific skill or background, however, there is some eligibility criteria candidates should meet and consider: being at least 18 years old by 1 November 2025; having basic knowledge of Italian or English; being able to attend selection and training events; and being available for at least 9 non-consecutive days during either Winter Olympic (6-22 February 2026) or Winter Paralympic (6-15 March 2026) competitions.
I comply with the eligibility criteria; is there any other aspect I should consider?
No – Team26 reflects and embeds the Olympic and Paralympic values within its programme to authentically embrace diversity, in all its forms and expressions. Team26 is open to people of any age, gender and culture, as it values connections as opportunities for personal and collective development. We are commited to granting accessibility to people with disabilities. We’ll do our best to assign every candidate to a role they can feel comfortable and confident doing.
