Our Board of Directors
The people leading the Milano Cortina 2026 projectThe Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 Board of Directors consists of: seven sports representatives nominated by agreement between the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP), including ex officio councillors and athletes who have taken part in recent editions of the Olympic and Paralympic Games; six representatives from the regions involved in the Games; and one CEO nominated by decree of the Italian Prime Minister.
The broad institutional synergy between the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committee, CONI, CIP, and the Municipalities of Milano and Cortina, with the support of the Italian government, the Lombardia and Veneto Regions, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano-Alto Adige / Bozen-Südtirol, will lead to a memorable and sustainable edition of the Games capable of inspiring future generations and giving rise to a long-lasting legacy for the country.
