Official Sparkling Wine Sponsor

The General Director of the Protection Consortium Luca Giavi: “Considering the international scope of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and Prosecco DOC being the most popular Italian wine denomination in the world, we could not help but be the Official Sparkling Wine Sponsor of this great event which we hope will represent a an opportunity to make the link between Prosecco and the area of production even more evident, the true reason for the international success of our product. Many times the notoriety of Prosecco leads many to believe that the term is synonymous with sparkling wine. This is not the case, Prosecco is a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) that involves nine provinces between Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, where the grapes are harvested and where the Prosecco is vinified which, once bottled, is sent to 195 countries around the world".
