Ticket sales to the general public for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 will start in February 2025, those for the Paralympic Winter Games in March 2025, exactly one year before the respective Opening Ceremonies, but the process of buying tickets to witness the best of great Olympic live sport has already begun.

How to buy tickets for the Olympics

You can now register on the ticket portal for the ballot that will allow you to be one of the first to buy the best tickets for your favourite Olympic sports.

By registering today on the Ticket portal you will book your turn to buy Olympic tickets (free of charge and with no commitment to buy). You will also have the chance to stay up-to-date on the world of Milano Cortina 2026 by using the same credentials to log in to Fan26, our Digital Community. Over the months, you will have early access to information about ticket sales and enjoy many unique opportunities and special moments reserved for Fan26 members.

Let’s find out more about purchasing tickets for the Olympics (this process does not apply to tickets for the Paralympics):

1. Go to the official ticket platform (click on the ticket button at the top of the Milano Cortina 2026 website) and register.

2. In January 2025, a ballot will be held to determine when it will be your turn to buy the best tickets to the upcoming Olympic Winter Games.

3. Ballot registration is free of charge and does not mean you are obligated to make any purchase: it only determines your turn, to make the process of buying tickets easy.

4. Once the ballot has been completed, you will receive an e-mail informing you of your turn: you will have around 48 hours to buy the tickets you want with confidence.

5. Wait your turn patiently and from February 2025 buy the best tickets for your favourite event online.

6. If you don’t want to participate in the ballot, no problem: you can still buy remaining tickets from April 2025, when general sales begin.

Why should you enter the ballot? For the chance to be among the first to enter ticket sales for the most anticipated sporting event and choose which sessions to buy and the best ticket categories.

Remember: this is not a lottery! In fact, all users who register for the ballot will be entitled to a turn to buy tickets and attend the upcoming Olympic Winter Games.

Signing up for the first phase is without obligation: change your mind? No problem, booking a spot in the ballot does not mean you have to purchase, but you might miss out on the tickets you want…

How to buy tickets for the Paralympics

In the case of the Winter Paralympics, there is no need to register for any ballot mechanism. From March 2025, when ticket sales open to the general public, simply log on to the Ticket portal and purchase your preferred tickets.

The journey has begun

Access to the Ticket portal is guaranteed from anywhere in the world and tickets will be 100% digital.

The prices of the tickets are not yet available, but this is entirely normal. Prices will only be announced this autumn, at the same time worldwide, after the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
