The President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Thomas Bach, met with all the staff of the Organising Committee of the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games at the Foundation's offices in Milan.

An exciting event strongly desired by President Bach himself, who discussed current and future scenarios with the employees of Milano Cortina 2026, also sharing some snippets of his career as an athlete.

On the sidelines of the meeting - which was also attended by the President of the IOC Coordination Commission for Milano Cortina 2026, Sari Essayah, President Giovanni Malagò and CEO Andrea Varnier -, President Bach expressed himself positively on the status of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games project, appreciating the commitment and team spirit in the Italian Organising Committee.

Thank you, Mr. President, for the empathy and energy you have brought during your two days in Italy. He told us that "together we are stronger". And he is right! And we perceive his presence at our side as strong and concrete.
